DoorsCon 26 has come to Val Verde, and with it comes Ed Zed, frontman of The Windows - a self-declared Doors legacy band with a legally questionable mission and an even more questionable backstory. Joe Wengert joins 108.9 The Hawk as Ed Zed, a man determined to keep the spirit of The Doors alive through naked vocals, original songs like “Haircuts,” “Rubber Band,” and “Bug Spray,” and one very complicated Robbie Krieger situation involving Benedict Canyon and a Toyota Yaris.
